Project Overview
This project involved asphalt milling at a United States Postal Service facility in Osprey, located in Sarasota County within our Gulf Coast service area. The milling operation was performed to prepare the existing surface for resurfacing.
Working at a federal facility required coordination with facility management to ensure operations were not disrupted and that all site-specific requirements were met.
Scope of Work
- Milling of existing asphalt surface to specified depth

Our Approach
We coordinated with USPS facility management to schedule the milling operation around the facility's operational requirements.
The milling machine removed the existing asphalt to a controlled depth, creating a clean bonding surface for the subsequent overlay.
Utility structures within the paving area were protected during milling to prevent damage.
Millings were loaded into trucks and transported for recycling, reducing waste and disposal costs.
The site was cleaned and swept upon completion, leaving the milled surface ready for the next phase of work.
